Privacy Policy for Songbook

This Privacy Policy describes how Songbook ("the app", "we", "us") handles your information. Songbook is developed by John Harold Rasco.

We designed Songbook to collect as little as possible. There is no sign-up and no personal account. The only way to give us any contact information is to type an email address into the feedback form yourself, which is entirely optional.

When you favorite a song, the app sends the following to our backend so we can power the community Top 100 list:

The app has a "Send Feedback" option under the More tab. Nothing here is collected unless you write a message and tap Send. When you do, we receive:

The app shows you this list on the feedback screen before you send. Submitted feedback is emailed to the developer so it can be read and acted on.

Third-party services

Songbook uses Google Firebase (Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore) to store anonymous favorite records. Firebase is provided by Google LLC and is governed by Google's privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy

Songbook is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the app after a revision constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
