Help and answers for the Songbook karaoke app.
Email us and we'll get back to you as soon as we can. Please include your karaoke machine model and a description of what's happening (and a screenshot if possible).
On first launch, Songbook asks you to choose your karaoke machine model. You can change it anytime from Settings → Karaoke Machine.
Tap the heart icon next to any song. The heart fills in to confirm. Tap it again to unfavorite. Your favorites appear in the Favorites tab.
Songbook does not require an account, so your favorites stay on the device they were created on. There's no cloud sync of personal favorites — this is intentional, to keep the app private and account-free.
The same song number can mean a different song on a different karaoke machine. Songbook scopes favorites per machine to keep your list accurate. Switching back to a previous machine restores those favorites.
The Top 100 shows the most-favorited songs across the entire community of Songbook users. It's anonymous — favoriting contributes a count, not your identity.
Songbook reads from the song catalogs published with each karaoke machine. If a song is missing or mislabeled, it's most likely an issue with the source catalog. Email us with the song number and machine model and we'll look into it.
Counts update when users favorite songs. Make sure you have an internet connection. If the list still looks wrong after a minute, please contact support.
Deleting the app from your device removes all local data (favorites, selected machine). Anonymous community favorite records stored on our backend cannot be linked back to you, but unfavoriting a song before uninstalling removes that record's contribution.
